I am Achmad Syaiful Makmur, a lucky person on earth who love his family very much. I am used to being called Achmad which is taken from “Muhammad SAW” name, the last and greatest Prophet in Islam Religion. Some people also call me Makmur, which means Prosper in Indonesian language. I enjoyed being called Achmad, Makmur, or other nickname as long as the intention is for friendship and good will.
I love watching movie and reading things about war history. I also like observing people behavior which makes me enjoy reading book on people behavioral science. Apart from my actual hobby, I graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 2010, majoring Civil & Structural engineering. It was one of my biggest luck in my live to be able to experience studying in ITB so I could be someone that can share thinking through this blog.
As written in the short description above, I really like a Japanese band called L’Arc en Ciel. I was dreaming of watching their live performance in Japan in 2002. That dream brought me a chance to spend one year in Japan as a research student exchange in Tokyo Institute of Technology through Young Scientist Exchange Program (YSEP). During the stay, I lived in Tokyo and enlisted as NIWA laboratory member in Civil Engineering Department, Tokyo Institute of Technology. Those one year of stay really brought me some of the most beautiful memories in my life. I was so lucky to get the chance.
I grew up in Bandung city, Indonesia. A beautiful city in south east of Jakarta in which I feel very lucky to be born here. I really love the city. After more than 23 years staying in Bandung, I moved to Jakarta to start my career life.
I’ve been writing in this blog since 2008. I am aware that I am not a good writer, however through this blog I want to share my life experience so every learning and meaning in the post I wrote can be beneficial for the readers. I also believe that by writing in this blog, I can improve my writing skill whether it is in English language, Japanese language, Indonesian language, or any other language.
